What if you unconsciously fell in love with a person that had never any intention of falling for you, will you tell him/her? Will you give up hope? What if he/she rejected you, will you still hope? What will you do then?

Yes. Tell him/her how you feel. If he/she rejected you, observe the situation. You can keep hoping, but if it’s pointless, give up and find someone else.
